KW14 - I was wondering where your id came from? Are you from the KW14 post code area in Thurso? I was from Hungry Hill and have only just moved to Dubai after too many years searching for the big bucks in Aberdeen..
I would appreciate any thoughts from Dubai based guys on moving in to Mirdif or Al Warqa areas?

KW14 - sorry but I did not recognise anyone in the pictures. I was brought up in Royal Terrace and am 36 yr old, and am Gavin Munro.
Do you know if the Dubai based Blue Nose's meet regularly?

Gavin, I may have had a wee bit more hair the last time you saw me!! I think you may have travelled on our bus from Thurso a few times - your dad is Roy (?) is that correct? This is Mec - Michael Cowie, from two streets down at Oldfield Terrace.

Oh yes I mind you well now - yes I did go down on the Thurso bus a few times and then started to go down with the Halkirk outfit. Did not join a RSC in Aberdeen but went down when I could and always made it to Pittodrie though.
How long have you been out in these sunny climes? A damn sight better than Thurso and Dounreay. I am based in Dubai but will be travelling around the area and Saudi and Bahrain will be stop offs.

Hi guys,
I am also from up the KW1 area but live in Aberdeen. Also used to travel down on the Wick/Halkirk bus to Ibrox.
I am over in Dubai at the end of October, do you guys have somewhere to watch the Hamilton v Gers game?

SteveW - you will need to check nearer the time if that match is on - sorry but we are not blessed (oh i hate using that word) knowing whats on until a great deal nearer the time - despite this being THE city to be in!!
Hopefully it will be on and if it is you will be made most welcome over at Biggles Bar, Millenium Hotel.
So are you a Weeker then?
I travelled down on the Halkirk / Wick bus as well as the Thurso bus back then - who will forget drinking at 05;30 in the morning, taking in a match and dring the whole way back again until 01:00 hrs.
